User Stories Applied: For Agile Software Development
by Mike Cohn
Average Customer Review:

Customer Review: This book made me better after the first chapter, maybe even after the introduction. I come from a traditional background of "The system shall..." approach to system requirements and incorporated them into a more agile approach. I have designed and completed successful projects that included hundreds of thousands of lines of code. I...

Customer Review: I bought this book and hope I can have some concrete examples for learning RoR, it did not disappoint me. I am using a little newer version of Ruby on Rails -- version 2.3.8 and I wasable to go through all the exercises in Chapter II, really amazing. Highly recommend it.

Customer Review: The book is an easy read, knocked over in half a day. Has a lot of great learnings and insights. Of course its biased to AGILE being the savour, despite that it is still worth the read.

Test Driven Development: By Example

Customer Review: The book was well written and used examples effectively to demonstrate the main concept. I started out as a skeptic, researching only because my company stated that it was headed in that direction. I am a believer that this is a good methodology that can produce reliable results. So far it has saved me from some grief, although I am...

Agile Software Development, Principles, Patterns, and Practices
by Robert C. Martin
Average Customer Review:

Customer Review: After reading this text, I feel it deserves the attention of other great texts such as Design patterns and Refactoring, even though much of it's content expounds upon the ideas of these two classics. It's my opinion that this text has two strong points: it explains the ideas and details of agile development very clearly, and it does...
